The New Brunswick Health Services Vision Program is open to citizens aged 19 and up. Coverage is given for corrective lenses, major or emergency exams, visual fields test, and some frames and cases. Minor exams may also be covered by the program, but these require approval.
Some services include a 30% fee charged to the patient, which is not covered by the program. The eye care provider will inform the patient when this is required.
